Can I watch English football over there?

Due to the success of the Socceroos at the 2006 World Cup, football (or soccer as it’s known in Australia) is becoming increasingly popular down under. This means that there is good coverage of the Premiership, Champions League and the FA Cup on television. However, the time difference means that you’ll have to get up very early in the morning or stay up late if you want to catch a game live. There are plenty of pubs which show English football on big screens.
