Whether you think you’ll need it or not, travel insurance is as essential as your passport. While the majority of people remain safe whilst travelling, anything could happen and occasionally does!

When buying travel insurance always shop around so you know exactly what you’re covered for; there’s no point in paying extra buying a package with cover for skiing or snowboarding if you’re not going to be doing it! It’s very important to check the small print and to make sure there are no hidden charges such as an excess when you make a claim. Also, check that you are covered for lost luggage, theft, legal expenses and missed flights if possible.
