Plan, direct and coordinate operational aspects of property management, including accommodation, lease management, energy and environmental issues and security
Lead the development of "best practice" fleet management policies and procedures consistent with Government policy and supportive of strategic service delivery objectives
Undertake procurement activities to ensure the department secures value for money from reliable suppliers
Ensure the Department property, facilities and fleet management policies align with our strategic and business needs, and align with Government directives.
Build and maintain operational relationships with Government Property.
Provide expert advice on accommodation and motor vehicle fleet matters and there relevance with emerging Government policies and how they relate to the Department.
Develop a customer focused team culture that embraces the Department DNA
Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders across Government and Department customers
Minimum Required Skills
Relevant degree qualification or extensive knowledge and experience in property, accommodation planning, facilities and fleet management
Demonstrated high level leadership capability
Advance written and oral communication skills with an ability to negotiate effectively
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with initiative and flexibility
Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at a senior level
Demonstrated commitment to developing a customer culture and improvement
