Gap Year Australia :: What should I take with me?

What should I take with me?

Try to take as little as possible as you will find yourself picking up stuff along the way and you’ll want to have room for it all. Pack the essentials - toiletries, as few clothes as you feel comfortable with, a first aid kit, sleeping bag, music, books (for the flight), plug adapter, phone and charger, guide book, address book, rain coat, photocopy of passport/driving license … A good looking travel companion is also recommended but you can usually pick up one of these along the way. Remember to pack your sense of humour and your sense of adventure!
