Do I need any vaccinations? Australia is one of the safest places in the world with regard to infectious diseases and you don’t need any specific vaccinations. However, check with your doctor before you leave, especially if you are travelling through other countries on the way! You should make sure your tetanus is up-to-date and you will certainly need sun cream and mosquito repellent – both of which you can buy over there.
